Welcome to our blog site!
I thought it would be fun to have a blog site for our class reunion - a place where everyone can post ideas, comments, information, whatever strikes your fancy. I have enjoyed getting your responses to my initial email (and thanks for all the offers of help), and wanted everyone to see the excitement and enthusiasm. This reunion is a go, so spread your wings, write your thoughts, post a picture - just have fun with it. As our plans firm up, I will post notices here as well as sending emails and letters to those without email. Remember to let me know if you have any new email addresses or snail mail addresses. You're my best resource for reaching our classmates.

What a wonderful idea, Shery! I'll be happy to help in any way I can from here--just let me know. Do we have any tentative dates yet?
Thanks Shery for taking the lead. The blog site is a wonderful idea. Also, it should be fun for everyone to return to halls of JHS. Let me know what ou want me to do to help
A funny email response I wanted to share - Bob Joiner emailed that he and his wife would be at the reunion, and he would be glad to pay early if needed. And P.S. He would pay even more if Bill Thompson would bring Peyton!

I had already decided I would attend our 50th reunion, but I am excited that I will get to attend the 45th. I haven't been to Jackson for many years so I will enjoy exploring and seeing if I can find my way around. I look forward to seeing everyone. Thanks Shery! Millie Hammill Merz
Shery, I think this is great plan but I would like to let the ones know who have not been back th JHS, there is nothing there of us. All pictures trophies and cases and all the memories are gone, it is like tth school was started in 1972. All class pictures from all years of JHS were taken down and put in basement of Oman Areana, Mitch Carter rescued lots of them, many others of these and many sports and such pictures are at the Old Country Store and other places in Jackson. Even the red tile roof is gone.

Shery and Betsy O- I was broken hearted to read Betsy's note, email, blog, whatever. How could this happen? Who was respon-sible? No one cares about us? I feel our momentos should have gone to SOME archives (Jackson Library) for preservation. Can anything be done to retrieve any or transfer it to some suitable place? I feel that these "treasures" are as valuable at birth and death certif-icates and to see them treated as flea market trivia, disturbs me greatly. Maybe a visit to the Oman Arena basement is more appro-priate for us. I never suspected this or dreamed that it could happen. Should we have a break- fast get-together at the Old Country Store? If our class picture still exists, I would like to attempt to purchase it and see that remains for posterity. Please let me know what you know.
All the best, phelan
Eddie Gerson- Have thought about writing you many times but you know how it is! At our last re- union, I handed you cash for a class photograph and you offered to give me a receipt but I didn't want one. I wonder if you have an extra print or would send me one if I offer to reimburse you? I would appreciate it. phelan
ps There are ABSOUTELY no hard feelings. Having operated on an international basis such as this, I realize just how confused things can get. I have had to deal with pounds, marks, fracs, etc., and even Euros!!! Don't feel badly!
shery,
Great job taking this on. Hope to be there, but we're usually out west in Montana in the summer. I'd like to see everyone!
Thanks ! Butch Rose
